African Dance – African dance is dance based on natural movements from life in West Africa. African dance uses drumming as a basis for the movements of dance. It is a percussive based dance form as is Tap
Ballet Barre – Ballet barre is a blend of ballet, fitness and pilates inspired movements done at a calorie burning pace. This dynamic workout not only burns fat and calories but will also tone and elongate your muscles, lift your buttox, slim your thighs and sculpt your upper body.
Beginning Ballet – A ballet course geared toward teaching and strengthening ballet technique. 0-3 years of experience in ballet is suitable for this class. This class offered for children, youth, and adults.
Ballet/Tap – This is a ballet and tap combination class for children ages 5-7 years old. It focuses on the basic rhythm and tap choreography and the foundations of ballet.
Pre-Ballet – Basic ballet skills, terminology, rhythm, and coordination are taught, practiced, and developed through creative movement, music, and mime in a supportive and supervised environment. This class is offered for children ages 2½-4 years old.
Hip Hop – Hip-hop is a dance style usually danced to hip-hop music that evolved from hip-hop culture. This dance style includes various moves such as breaking, popping, locking, krumping, and also house dance. Improvisation and personal interpretation are essential in hip-hop. This class is offered for both youth and adults.
Intermediate Ballet – Intermediate Ballet is a second level ballet class for individuals who have more than 3 years of experience. At this level, students should be knowledgeable of basic ballet technique and terminology.
Jazz – A fun dance style that relies on originality and improvisation. It uses bold, dramatic movements including body isolations and contractions.
Modern – Modern dance is a form of dance which focuses on the serious expression of inner emotions, using a free-flowing, interpretive style. Dancers are often barefoot or wearing soft shoes and move in a free, improvisational style. It is common to see controlled falls and other interesting interplays of body weight and gravity.
Piloxing – Piloxing is a combination of pilates and boxing moves in a high-spirited interval workout. Piloxing uses weighted gloves to increase the intensity of the movements.
Tap – Tap is a form of dance which uses special type of shoes equipped with metal taps at the bottom. The feet are used to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats. This class is offered for everyone.
Zumba – Zumba is a fitness class that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — and resistance training.
